Decorating the tree

This was a team effort. Andy hung all the lights and put the tree in the stand. I put on all the ornaments. Getting the tree straight in the stand was they hardest part, since our floors have a slight slant to them.

Our first Christmas tree

My sister drove over for the day to help Andy and I get a Christmas tree. This was probably the fastest anyone in my family has ever picked out a tree. I looked at the tree we ended up getting and said "this is nice" and then turned around to look at some more and the next thing I knew Andy had the tree and was taking it to the guy to cut the bottom. There was a football game on and it was half time. Andy wasn't messing around. We probably were in and out in about 15 mins. I am sure that has to be a world record.

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas

I was not allowed to start decorating for Christmas until Thanksgiving had passed, but I worked some magic (aslso known as nagging him until he gave in) and got Scrooge to let me start decorating on the 23rd.I used the deco mesh. It was really easy to work with. Next year I want to get bigger ornaments to add to it. This is the longest garland I have ever made. 23ft of Christmas joy. I love Christmas so much I actually thought about it wearing it as a scarf, Andy said no ( bah-humbug on him).
